Southbound Beretta Releases “Fighter”

Just in time for an enjoyable 4th of July weekend, Indiana’s own Southbound Beretta release their two-song EP called Fighter. This side A/B project consists of two songs distributed through Damage Media Group. The first track is called “Fighter” and the second track is called “Auburn Red”. For the first track, they have unleashed their inner patriotism and allowed those who “stand up for the home of the brave” to join with them. This track embodies everything that truly speaks out to the public when it comes to freedom and saying what you believe.

“Fighter” starts off by saying “Well freedom… Freedom isn’t free”. No words spoken have ever been more true. Southbound Beretta really nails it when describing how they feel about living in the United States and their ability to express their rights of speech. They have developed a sound in this track that resembles an anthem. You might hear people chanting this all weekend long and celebrations after just to reiterate how impactful their words are through music. This track is mixed with heavy guitars, banging drums, and screaming vocals that will get you amped up every time you hear it. You might want to add this to your favorite party playlist or substitute it for a pre-workout.

“Auburn Red” has a different tone in its composition. This song gives you those good feeling vibes that we need during the summer. “Auburn Red” shines bright with a catchy hook bellowing “You’ve got me wrapped around your finger”. We have all had that feeling when we think about a certain someone. This track reminds you that it’s okay to have those thoughts and will have you singing along to get it off your chest. It’s filled with lyrics that will make you want to get close to that special someone and embrace the moments in time that you have with them. Full of knocking snares, blazing guitars, and hypnotizing vocals, you’ll be singing to that special someone in no time.

Fighter was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Indiana-born and raised but current Memphis, TN resident Ryan Olson. He and Southbound Beretta produced the track at his studio of Uproar Recording. They have built a tight bond and will be releasing more music in the future. Be prepared to be blown away by what this duo will be capable of with their talent. This project is only the beginning of what this combination of band and engineer can do.

Fighter is now streaming on all major platforms. For more information about Southbound Beretta and their future releases visit their site at https://southboundberettaband.com/
