C4 Da Don Releases “Winter 4: The Last Winter”

As for music, 2022 has been good to C4 Da Don. His release Winter 3 is doing well in downloads and streams. Winter 3 is one of the best albums we’ve received from C4 as his work is only getting better. If you follow C4 on social media he has been hinting at releasing new music before the year ended. Lucky for us he has kept true to his word with the release of Winter 4: The Last Winter.

Winter 4 seems to be the closing of a chapter for C4. He has been able to capture his audience and give them everything in his heart and soul on every track he is on. From discussing the trials and tribulations that he sees every day in his city of Memphis, to the thoughts that are constantly on his mind, C4 delivers golden images to those that have tuned in to his music. This album is nothing short of when an artist takes their time and effort and places it in their music. Everything from the well-crafted production of banging 808s to the strikes of a piano, this album was delivered just in time to keep the streets hot for the winter.

In many cases, C4 can be seen as a voice of the people in Memphis. He has gone through his fair share of issues with people and music that he decides to let us know about in this album. He is one of those artists that when you hear his music, you know he is telling you what is on his mind and he makes a believer out of you. During is track “Heart On Froze” he says “Heart just been froze now, life just been outta control now. I just been low now, don’t believe nothing I was told now”. This helps you get into the mindset of how he feels about his current situation in life and what he’s been through.

C4 did a podcast on the Romera Records Podcast where he states “In the time of me hanging around Don Trip… I learned finding where you want to be and staying in that range.” He continues to explain that he has grown a lot and has been able to see things differently in his life. We all know what it is like to live and learn. We all go through things that have made us stronger by going through difficult situations and just experiencing life.
