It’s never too late to use a familiar theme for a music release. That’s exactly what Sari does in her new hit single “In My World”. Everything about the track just meshes so well. When she is describing the thoughts and feelings she is having, you start to feel as if she had been pondering these lyrics directly to her fans. Adele did a technique like this in her music. She started speaking to herself, her fans, and everyone in between through her music. Sari’s lyrics are so direct when she says “Sometimes I cry, ‘cause I can’t explain why, I feel lonely and asleep, Like this life’s a nightmare dream”. I think we’ve all had that feeling where we aren’t sure if something is real or not. We must consider that people who are creatives can use that situation for their creative process to connect with the rest of us. Sari is being transparent and allowing the fans to hear how her life can be relatable.
